REMEMBER FOREVER HIS OR HER ACCOMPLISHMENTS: INSIPIRATION AND ADVICE FOR A PHOTO ALBUM OF THE FIRST YEAR
The first year goes by so fast that it should be kept close with photos to help remember. An album dedicated to the baby is just what’s needed. The first smile, the first tooth coming in... And plenty of room for stories to tell. Here we’ll show you how to create beautiful photos and capture the important moments in an absolutely personalized photo album.
A photo album allows you to forever remember the first days, weeks and months of your baby. Later you'll be happy you made it... baby’s mile stones are soon forgotten! Her first smile, the first time she turned over, the first time she tried to crawl on the ground, first steps. And don't forget to write the date alongside!
A photo album dedicated to the baby is also ideal as a baptism gift or for grandparents.
On the carefully prepared pages you can add personal notes to highlight special moments, from pregnancy to the first birthday. Or, simply, give it to yourself as a gift. Later you will be able to browse the album with your child and tell him about the time when he was new-born.
Of course you can’t miss having a photo of the child in tears as well! The first months weren’t exactly easy, were they? Little extra touches can be things such as ultrasound images, foot and hand prints, greeting cards or handmade designs. You can add and customize any way you like.
Easy: DIY baby photo album
There aren’t any rules for photographing your baby in the important moments or situations of his typical behaviour. Whether you’re using your digital camera or smart phone, with a couple of tricks you can easily turn those photos, even those taken by accident, into jewels.
Create a natural atmosphere where your child feels at ease and happy, he or she should neither be hungry nor tired.
- Photograph the baby lying on his stomach from his or her level.
- Decorative effects are possible with accessories like balloons, towels or soap bubbles.
- Photos are more authentic if they are taken spontaneously.
- Always have a camera ready. It’s always very difficult to re-enact lost moments.
- For indoor shots, an environment with plenty of daylight is needed.
- No flash; it would be better to brighten or heighten the photosensitivity of the camera.
Do you want to try something more or stage a special photograph? The baby’s feet, close up in the hands of mom or dad make a really beautiful subject. A shot of the baby, just out of the bath and peeking out from a towel is also very sweet. Or you can start a long term monthly session with the favourite stuffed animal. You can also make a collage of different moods: hunger, joy or surprise. Unleash your imagination!
